When you think of futurama, you think of flying cars, hoovering stuff, robots, and crazy technology. Well, we're one step closer to that. Ever since the movie, Back to the Future, people have been trying to design a vehicle that can fly up in the sky. Only qualified pilots can drive and fly this Terrafugia Transition 'roadable' plane for just £127,000. It will be coming out next year.



Its lightweight and flexible. The wings are fold able that can fit in your garage. The wing span is 27.5ft, it has an airbourne range of 460 miles and can cruise at 115mph. In car mode, it can reach speeds that are capable for the highway. Filling up the gas is really simple, you just go up to your regular gas station and fill it up with unleaded. It is powered by a 100 hp, Rotax 912S, four-stroke engine.



So, I don't know about you but thats pretty sick. You can get your very own Transition aeroplane by simply paying a deposit of £6,500. I wonder how many crashes will happen though.. hahah whatever trial and error.
